On Sunday 3rd December, 2006, a service was held at St David's Church at Haberfield, which included a Kirkin' o' the Tartans Ceremony. The Earl of Dalhousie, Jamie Ramsay, was present at the service, and at a gathering held afterwards in the Church Hall, the Earl gave formal permission for the forming of a Clan Ramsay Society in Australia.
