My father was Ken Ramsay. He married Jacqueline Robertson, known as Jock.

Dad's parents were Archie Ramsay, a dentist, and Muriel Allard.

On the Ramsay side, Archie's parents were David Ramsay, the son of Dr David Ramsay, and Kate de Mestre, the daughter of Prosper de Mestre. This side of the family also leads to the convict emancipist, Simeon Lord , Mary Hyde and John Black.

On the Allard side, Muriel's father was Horace Allard (HB) and her mother was Maria Woolnough. It is on this side that the Cowlishaws fit in. Muriel's Father was George Woolnough, and her mother was Maria Cowlishaw.

Mum's parents were Norman Robertson, a doctor, and Neida Playfair.

Norman Robertsons parents were Duncan Robertson and Alice Robertson, who were not related.

Duncan Robertson's father was also Duncan. His family came from the Shire of Inverness in Scotland. His mother was Margaret Stewart.

Alice Robertson's father was John Robertson, who was knighted for being the Premier of New South wales. His parents were James Robertson and Margaret Davies. This Robertson family emigrated from England, but James was born at Renfrew in Scotland.

Neida Robertson's father was Edmund Playfair, the son of Thomas Playfair and Ellen Matheson. Her mother was Edith Creer, the daughter of Joseph Creer and Sarah Ferrers.
