Francis John Allard was Horace Bately Allard's brother. He came to Australia on board "Garonne', arriving
in April 1878, when he was aged 20.
Francis Allard was an accountant, but became interested in property development, particularly in the Lindfield
area of Sydney.
His death notice in the Sydney Morning Herald read as folllows:-

Francis Allard was married to Alice Mary Case, who came to Australia in 1888 on 'Carthage', when she was 26.
They were married in 1889 at Burwood and had 3 children.

Mary Alice Case's mother Mary Ann, nee Rushmer, also came to Australia.
